Acceptance of these terms

By using Wingdings Translator, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

What the service is

Wingdings Translator converts text into Wingdings, Wingdings 2, Wingdings 3 and Webdings symbols, and converts those symbols back into English.

It all happens inside your web browser. There is no account to create and nothing to buy.

Because the tool runs on your device, it depends on your browser supporting the features it needs. Very old browsers may not work correctly.

Your text stays yours

You keep every right you already had in the text and images you put through the tool. We claim no ownership, licence, or interest in them.

This is easy for us to promise because we never receive them. Everything is processed on your own device.

This is not encryption

Wingdings is a font substitution, not a cipher. The mapping is public and published, so anyone can reverse it in seconds.

Do not use this tool to protect anything that matters. Treat it as a novelty or a puzzle.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for what you put through the tool, and for what you do with the result.

• Do not use it to produce material that is unlawful where you live.
• Do not use it to harass anyone or to misrepresent a message as secure.
• Do not attempt to disrupt the site, or to access it by automated means at a scale that degrades it for others.

Availability

The site is provided as it is, with no guarantee of uptime.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time, including taking it offline permanently, without notice and without liability to you.

Third party services

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, uses Google Analytics, and may show advertising served by Google AdSense.

Your use of the site is also subject to those providers' terms, and we are not responsible for their services.

Intellectual property

The site's name, design, text, and code are owned by us or used with permission. These terms give you no right to reuse them beyond normal use of the site.

Wingdings and Webdings are typefaces owned by Microsoft. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Microsoft.

It does not distribute the fonts. It outputs the standard Unicode characters for those symbols instead.

Undertale and its characters are the property of their creator. This site is not affiliated with them either.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

That includes any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the tool will be uninterrupted or error free, or that a translation will display correctly on every device.

Keep your own copies of anything important.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.

That includes any loss of data.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms as the site changes. The date at the top shows when they were last updated.

Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Mandatory consumer protection laws where you live apply instead where they conflict. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts.
